Northern NSW Trip Suggestions

New Member
Hi !

My partner and I are planning on spending new yeas eve in Byron, but we want a fun trip afterwords that includes:
beginner/moderate 4WD tracks
any historic/nice small towns

Expecting to travel a few hours inland of NSW, or even over to the QLD border as we are travelling until the 9th Jan.

Really not sure if theres much in that area, any help would be awesome!

Hey Mate...

Inland from Byron Bay, there is a fair bit to see.
Not sure how inland you are prepared to travel but below is some places that comes to my mind:

> Border Ranges National Park (Walks & scenic views & camping)
> Nightcap National Park (Walks & scenic views & camping)
> Mount Barney National Park (Walks & Hiking & Swimming Holes + scenic views & camping)
> Rover 4WD Park which has some historical sites located in the park
> Bald Rock National Park (Walking & Camping)
> Boonoo Boonoo National Park (Walks & Swimming)
> Thunderbolts Hideout
> WWII Tank Traps part of the Brisbane Line

Jusst do some googling and you will find more that may interest you...

Hope this helps you a bit...
