Nissan Patrol GU 4.5 Petrol, 1998
Good Points
heaps of power/torque, lots of mods available, great bar. atm it's a blank canvas. although he loves a drink, the economy is no where near as bad as i thought.
Bad Points
Loves a drink, small sub tank. spare tyre placement (wear n tear on back door)
What mods have you done?
None as yet, it came with the TJM winch compatible bar.
What mods are on the list to do?
4" lift, 33" cooper STs, Safari snorkel, UHF, spotties. will work on these over the next couple of years.
Why did you buy this vehicle?
A GU was always the grand plan, and after I stupidly sold my Pathfinder and replaced it with a sh!tbox Prado (which i had endless problems with) i bit the bullet and and went straight for the GU, plus i wanted a truck capable of more than a standard 2" lift, and also has a host of mods available to it.
How often do you go offroad?
Not enough, about once every 6 weeks, more this year though!
What will your next vehicle be?
I reckon i stick with this Bad Boy for a while!
