IT'S DONE!!! Bar is finished and on. And it looks FAT!! I will post picy's at a later date.

4 mm. RHS. 120x75 mm. 1 piece. cut, bent, welded, gussetted, 12 bolts @ m12 HT. weighs 16 kg more than OE inc. towbar, LED's and hitch.
It aint gunna bend let alone break!

Also removed muffler and pipe now dumps out the side of the new bar behind wheel.

Thats a good looking bar. I like how the trailer adaptor is fixed in position - are you going to patent that?

Did you end up giving it that 2" lift ;)

youve gotta stop doing those other small mods though frosty the poor old pootrols starting to look a bit ragged around the edges or ask the rangers to stop helping with the mods.and mate the rear bar work looked awesome when i had a look on sunday and love the exhaust dumping out of the left hand side nice touch

Frosty I to have a 2.8 and find that there seems to be a sweet spot for accelaration on the pedal.
It may be a litle underpowered but still pulls my mates 4.2 cruiser out of bogholes.

The old girl had her FIRST mechanical procedure today! NEW brake pads, new brake lines to diff (1 had a cut in it?? ), machined discs, a flush and new fluid and bearings repacked. 228476 km. I'm so excited!! It even stops now! very cool. :D

Other than 2 timing belts, filters, oils and bearing repacks, it's her first major op for replacement parts!!

:D Mum and Dad are so proud!

The old girl got a major soup up today!! A Roo systems chip, boost control and dyno tune!! WOW! What a differance!!!! MEGA impressed at this stage. I'll post up the dyno results tomorrow.

Sounds better, feels unreal and just keeps pullin. There may be couple of devastated 4.2 owners out there, so I won't rub it in to much! YET!!

Stay tuned.
