I'm just happy to follow the leader on this one. I think we will all be new to Wallaroo. I'm imagining it won't be too dis similar to the Watagans terrain wise. I'm happy to do small water crossing if I have to, but haven't put my snorkel on the disco yet.
The disco is still in stock form, so this will be a good test for it.
I won't be camping over nite on saturday as I have a busy sunday planned and being fathers day, can't rearrange it.

Yeah there are a few tubeyou vids on wallaroo that i have found but they dont really mention any track names..... Im sorta thinking we enter Wallaroo NP of Italia rd and sorta wind our way around and in the arvo end up at Wallaroo SF. Does anyone have any ideas of tracks or should we just wing it? I have studied some maps and topos to locate a few tracks maybe a creek crossing or two aswell. Im also told that there expecting a little rain in the next couple of days. Either way i think it should be fun....

I did find someone elses map on the interweb. It may be of some use.

Caswells is the only decent track we found back left looking from main road.
No hard , mostly rock, and on the way in, from the turn off just before the Medowie intersection, theres a quarry with some good steep climbs.
Rest is just ruts and bogs.

Booooooo. I'm still a solid maybe at this point. I've said no to any shifts that day/night so far but not feeling very confident in my ability to drive offroad/setup camp. Is there a camp location set in concrete yet? Is it SF or NP? If I do end up coming along, I might just head straight there and meet the campers when they arrive. @Hendo75 You still camping mate?

Yeah bud camp is at little mountain campground in karuah NP and im sure there will be plenty of hands to help you set up camp bud. It would be good to have u along and catch up again.

Bugger. Being NP, that rules me out. Will just have to catch up with you another time mate. Enjoy the drive/camp!

Sorry guys.
I'm going to pull the pin on this trip due to the rain that hasn't stopped since last night, and more is forecast for tonight and tomorrow.
Hopefully it doesn't rain for the next trip.
Have fun and don't forget to post lots of pics.

So who else is still in for tomorrow, according to BOM at Karuah they have had no rain today and expected to get 4-6mm overnight.

I'm still in

Hendo, its been raining most of the day while I was working around Raymond Terrace. It wasn't heavy, but it was enough to slow my day down.
