New tyres for the Patrol

Hi folks at the moment I need to get another set of tyres for my Patrol and my new second hand off road caravan. This means that I need to buy a total of 8 tyres, so what I was wondering if there was anyone else in Adelaide who is in the process of buying a new set of tyres.
The intention is to buy our tyres at the same time from the same tyre dealer to get the best possible discount, as combined we would be buying up to 13 tyres or possibly 16 tyres depending whether or not the other person was also replacing the tyres of their camper trailer/caravan.
So please consideration to this as if there were 3 or 4 people needing to replace their tyres at this point in timewe would be able to get a better than average discount.

Not in Adelaide bud, stationed about 5.5 - 6 hours north, but I'm in the market for 6 new tyres and rims in the coming months. How soon are you looking to buy?

No worries regarding your location, as for when I'm looking at purchasing tyres it will be somewhere in the next 2 or 3 weeks and I'll be purchasing 8 tyres. 5 for the patrol and 3 for the off road caravan. At the moment I'm not sure of which brand but they will probably be mud terrain tried.

When do you think you will be able to buy your next set of tyres ? Is there a particular brand that you were considering ? Let me know what brand , size and type ; then I'll start going around to the different dealers to see what sort of discount will be possible.

No worries I'd be seeing the tyre dealers in the Southern suburbs area, we'll see how it goes.

All things going well I'd say mid February if that suits you. I'm looking for 285/75R16 most likely, possibly thinking 305s also. An AT, MT or aggressive AT - still undecided and it'll come down to what the best deal is really

Hi unko84 I received a quote for Toyo R/T 265/7516 from Southside Tyrepower in Morphett Vale and their price is $315.00 per tyre Total $2520.00 and a wheel alignment is $65.00. Let me know what you want to do.

Hi I will probably need to get my tyres before then but I'll see how far I can delay my purchase of new tyres.

Hi as you are after a different size that is different to my original quote , then all you will have to do is to go to Southside Tyrepower web site and request a quote for the TOYO R/T 315/75R16 quantity of 6 tyres . Now considering that the quote I had asked for was for 265/75/16 tyres there maybe a difference in the price, however taking into account that you are 6 tyres I feel they would still give you a reasonable quote.

Hi everyone regarding getting a discount on tyres I have come across Tyroola Tyres Australia are offering 50% discount on tyres purchased when 3 of my friends also purchase tyres from them as well and what I don't know for the moment is whether or not all of the tyres purchased have to be the same make, type and size. Their web site is www.tyroola.com.au
Now I dare say some of you are thinking this is to good to be true so I have sent an email to them asking them how their mates rates system works; once I have received a response from them I will post their reply. Of course I'm hoping what they are advertising is correct as I wouldn't like to be led up the garden path.
