Hi Everybody,

Have just signed up, great site.

Thanks to Patriot and his post and link on the GPS Forum I have found this site.

I am located at Coffs Harbour and have a great playground for the 4WD enthusiest from the beach to the bush.

My mate & I had our own 4WD training school at Coffs Harbour until the insurance companies put us out of business. We also ran tag-a-longs. I am also a Driving Instructor with the Rural Fire Service.

Its great fun taking the large Isuzu 13 tonne 4WD tankers out into the fire trails around here. Puts a whole new spin into off road driving. Took them to Emu Park 4WD Park at Tabulum a couple of years ago. Great experience.

Also spent 12 years 4WDing around Papua New Guinea. Thats a whole different story.

Hope to be able to add a few tracks onto the map shortly as my new GPS is in the mail.

Drove a Range Rover for 12 years (couldn't wear it out) now have a diesel Discovery. Not as good as the RR off road but a lot more economical.

Hi Mausgrass,

I have spent a bit of time in Unimogs offroad, and it is quite a bit different to your normal 4 wheeling, not quite as heavy as a tanker, but yeah it gives you a different perspective.
