hi i have an 06 pajero and i was wondering if anybody knows how to disconnect the MATT system it has nearly caused me to come to grief several times

Hi gunya and welcome. I would contact a Pajero mechanic and talk to them. Other people are complaining about it too. 30 minutes and the MATT overheads on soft sand and it stops

Is it like the Nissan X-Trail type of electronic 4X4 system, that also can over heat ??
