Sorry mate , Mods can you change the thread title to ; New Defender , observations and opinions of the available information .

Apologies to any other precious LR owners.
haha, I wasn't having a dig or being a precious LR owner - just stating the obvious. I am actually looking forward to seeing a genuine review/drive of the new Defender, but until then its all just a looks good on paper opinon

He talk BS even when he has the car in his hands, so just going on specs goes to show the ignorance of the man. If one went on spec alone why would anyone buy a 76 toyota for the price and the know bad points. But people do and they love them. this guy is a fool and takes precious oxygen from the planet that could be beneficial for a lot of other worthy recipients!

No wonder the 'tread lightly' message is not getting through. Thanks to marketing.

James Bond connection is a worry , at least they mentioned the car was modified (flashed onto the screen in small print) still more will be picking the kids up / soccer on the week ends than ever go offroad . Car park at Mt Buller over winter will also be a good spot to find them , :D:D:D doubt you will see one in the bush .
