Need some help please - No power over 2000 rpm

I have replaced fuel filters, cleaned pickup in tank, blown out all fuel lines, fitted facet fuel pump between water trap filter and main filter, replaced fuel filter in injector pump, replaced pressure relief valve, replaced fuel cut off solenoid, not sucking air - starts and runs fine to 2000 revs then there is no power - it won't go over 100km. 105 series Landcruiser 2001. Give us a bit more info if you can please. Like what engine you have for starters. Have you checked your air intake? Have you cut open the old fuel filter to see what it looks like? Is it getting full throttle when you depress the accelerator?

Was thinking something similar. Limp mode or a sensor has gone faulty and the engine is protecting itself.

Usually limp mode will bring on a CEL, but not always so yeah, do a scan if you haven't (though being a mech you probably did this ?)

My ranger went into limp mode once, same sort of thing, no revving over X, comfortable top speed of only 85k's or so.
Funny my auto didn't go through gears, just very worrying slow take off in about 3rd.
Was caused by a blown 10c fuse, brake / horn . . . Ford in its wisdom hooked the trans module through that too ! Not noted on fuse box.
Check all your fuses to possibly eliminate similar.

Don't you just love modern car manufacturing!

No offence but it sounds like you've taken the Facebook approach to fixing it by throwing money at it until the problem goes away rather than using diagnosis.

Is it a turbo have you checked your turbo pipes on the pressure side for splits or leaks? Have you put a vacuum gauge on it or tested with a smoke machine for leaks? Manifold? Various pipes etc, have you checked fuel pressure under load and all the common stuff?

One thing I can tell you for sure is it's cheaper to test for the fault than replace every component.

105 series so I'll assume its a 1HZ - no ECU on board to check codes guys. Sounds like it could be fuel, although you seem to have that covered from your original post. Exhaust restriction maybe - been 4wding and crushed the pipe?

Fair call, looks like the 1HZ still has an EGR controller which controls vacuum signal etc which is relayed to the pump
