This is aimed at beginners who are just starting out in the world of 4WD. Just some ideas and tips for even the most novice of beginners as well as some of the pre preparation you can do before you even hit the tracks. If you're a newbie I hope this video helps you hit up the tracks!

My first off road drive was on a firebreak trail.
Lots of steep hills, tight corners and good fun.
No risk to the car so as a newbie myself I would concur with your suggestion re fire trails.

Thanks for the kind words. Sounds like an awesome first experience. I think a positive first time out is what made me “catch the bug” for 4wding. I’d hate to think what would have happened if my first trip out ended up being a bad experience, I’d have missed out on my (now) main passion in life.
