How is the ride on the Bilstein shocks and king springs. I am looking at this setup and the rear shocks come out mid January. But OME and TJM are released around the same time and am wondering if Bilstein is worth that little bit extra?

I put Bilsteins under my dual cab Dmax, and two mates have since done the same. We all love them. Dramatic change to the vehicle. Would suggest similar improvements for a MUX. Yes, worth that little bit extra

40MM king spring lift. Constant load rear springs and HD springs up front,

Before

Drivers side Front :490 After :565 = 75mm
Drivers side Rear :530 :595 = 65mm
Passenger side Front :495 :570 = 75mm
Passenger side Rear :530 :595 = 65mm

Bear in mind that the front was measured 'before' with stock suspension and a MCC Falcon02 bulbar, so had already sagged 10-15mm already. Rear isn't loaded at all hence the rear up 25mm higher, will settle when I get a long range tank etc, I do like the height however! (I do have a diff drop kit on the front to help CV angles)

I did the lift myself just ordered the parts from over East,

Well just got ARB to install the new OME suspension and it is quite comfortable and does a nice job lifting. Here are some pics before and after as well as the measurements.

Which shop did you go to mate? I just went into an ARB in St Peters and they said there was no OME suspension for the MUX and they'll have to call up Monday to find out when or if it'll be available.

Keep seeing it over and over again ARB doesn't give out correct information to their dealers.

ARB in Capalaba (Qld) has quoted a OME suspension for the MU-X at $1800. Only provides for an approximately 1" front and 1 1/2" rear lift. This is to keep within manufactures perimiters which is important if you don't wont to upset the warranty. Biggest advantage I can see is better handling from stiffer springs I have also requested rear springs be given a +200kg rating.

I got mine fitted by ARB Toowoomba. And they had a e-mail from ARB head office when they where about to release this and the bullbar in January.

I went for the Dobinson lift kit designed for an added load of 100-200 kg and the rear ride was really harsh at speed while loaded. The supplier has just replaced the lot inc softer springs.

The ARB bar has an option for spotlights. It will use the existing wiring if your model comes with it, or there's a wiring loom option if you have the base model.

I got their newly released ones fitted, they are sealed against water and dust. They also bigger than the Isuzu spotlights.

Good to hear from someone who has had experience with the heavier spring Ziggy. What hight did the Dobinson kit lift the rear by? Got me thinking now as I'm booked in at ARB on Tuesday.

Interesting. I'm booked in for a bilstein, dobinson combo. Fronts are off the shelf bilstein for the dmax whereas the rears will be a custom made bilstein based on the prado rear.

Zordo is doing the lift and he recommended the heavier spring at the rear to match the shock. Getting fitted next week then off to Fraser :)
