Mt Wellington, Victoria

I am looking at a trip in 2 weeks, does anyone know if the Mt Wellington track is open ? I know there is a gate further in from Moroka Rd. Does this close off the Mt Wellington track or the track to the left ?

According to Parks Vic website the Mt Wellington Track is closed until 1/11/2009 due to the 07 Bushfires. Its listed on Map 8B on the seasonal road closures section on the Parks Victoria Web site. Also I checked Hema Maps and it shows a gate across Mt wellington track, so I'm pretty sure that it will be locked
