Well..
As planned, we (my family and a couple of mates) left Morwell at 9:30 and headed towards Seaton and up McEvoys track to Mt Useful... as was the case a few weeks ago, the track is in excellent condition and would see most family 2wds being able to "almost" get to the snow... Finally got to the top (1434m) at 11am.
All the kids got their gear on and had a ball in 12 to 18 inches of relatively fresh snow. Snowman was made, snowballs were thrown and a good time had by all..
The kids had had enough so we packed em all back in the cars and headed back down the mountain... Took the Binns rd turnoff and headed over to Walhalla rd and stopped in at the Wally Pub for a counter attack.. Great Parma and everyone else reckoned the meals were tops... Great pub, great food, great place - No wonder I get up there as often as i can...
Anyway, ive uploaded some pics of the day.. See you guys all out there soon hopefully.
