Hello All, looking for a muddy afternoon next Sunday 1st Feb. Thinking hit Laceys creek road by 10:30ish. Meet dayboro Pub 10:00. anyone interested, let me know. also will keep UHF on channel 12.:D

How hard would the tracks be mate?

Only got a stock standard surf....just with 32inch muddies on there!

No cb radio either yet, too broke to be getting one anytime soon!

hey guys, i'm sure the weather will play a big part in how the tracks will be. we're no tuff truck type bunch, pajero with lift, 33"Micky T AT's , bullbar, winch. Posibly stock navara & fairly stock GU. Pajero definate, others maybe. With winch & all recovery gear, pretty much get out of anything. generally try anything but panel damage & deep water is no go.

Just a bit of an up date on Mt Mee . have just got back . Jacky Creek is now closed ( or at least 4x4s can't go through ) , many other tracks are being blocked . currently a lot of grading is going on . The tracks are now like Hwys . I drove around in 2wd , using my rear diff lock twice for fresh graded loose stuff on the A Break run .

EPA sent out a new map which I scanned and added recently. The grading should be finished soon, the ranger though by the end of the month or the 1st week of August. There wanted the firebreaks to be that and be able to get firetrucks into the area.

well they certainly can get trucks in there now . there's no fun to be had at the Mt now . I wonder if it will ever be that you can use 4wd up there again .

Give 12 months and the tracks will weather in, then the fun should occur again. They have done some tracks near Gatton like that too but the extremely hard tracks are now accessible and from a friends commit, we will be heading out there mid next month for a night run. Rain dependant

I went into Mt Mee for a look around on Friday. Went in from the south at Wirth Rd. Ended up doing the Jacky Creek track. Its open, and lots of fun. I took the prado on friday, but will go back soon in the Beach Buggy for some more fun :D

It's like a highway compared to before the recent track work. i was up there about 2 weeks ago .
