Thanks for that, i had a look at the beginning of monkey gum when i was there. Drove though the creek bed and went up that small incline to were i think you mean. Seeing i was by myself and it was late afternoon, thought it best to head back to camp.... That was last long weekend. I tried to get at least one other from our camp to go back next morning and i had no luck...
So i will keep an look out for a up coming trip to go back , If no one puts up a trip?.. i will put a trip on , but cant do it till late Nov / Dec Kids have some dance comps on and not going to know when i can put trip on till they finish. if they get though the finals next step is state.. so i cant put up a date till that is over.
Like i said Thanks again.
Hey mate, Id be more than happy to go down for a run but will be steering clear of 6 stage. Been up there a long time ago and isn't something id be keen on putting my bronco through these days I only go up on the bike, my old Hilux had a twin-stick setup, 37s lockers , beadlocks ect and I still copped a bit of panel damage.
Monkey gum is still a nice challenging track and something that as long as your careful you will get through without any pannel damage, when you hit the creek you just cross it and keep following the main track, usually people looking for six-stage go straight past it as its a bit tucked away, it was more than likely you were looking at monkey gum.
If you get through the gum alright can go have a look at middle earth, mini gunshot, dusties and a whole bunch of other good tracks out there
