Metho Burners

For anyone who uses Metho burners such as the multi-fuel types and any other cooker that uses metho, when cooking if you place a tea spoon of water in with the metho it reduces the amount of soot on the bottom of the cooking pot or pan also soap works to if you soread it on the outside of the pot or pan but not as well, the water also increases burn time of the metho if you add around about a 10% mix rather than the tea spoon.

Great tip, we'll give that one a go next trip for we've got a small portable unit that we use on the side of the road rather than pull out the LPG cooker.. Thanks
