Hello,

Has anyone used Max Traxx? They seem to be OK for sand, do they work in mud as well? Haven't seen anyone use them et and just wanted to know from anyone that had used them if they were any good.

Thanks

They work great, have got me out everytime and saves setting up the winch, used them on the Patrol in the sand and Terrano II in the mud. Good to have when you are on your own. I only have 2 at the moment but are going to get another 2. The only problem is when they are all muddy you dont want to put them back in the car, in the patrol I put them on the roof rack but the Terrano I tie them to the spare wheel.

A mate of mine has a set and we used them a couple of weeks ago in some very slippery clay. Managed to give his cruiser enough traction to get up a fairly steep slope. ( Of course the mighty Nissan was already waiting at the top ) lol A really good product !

Not a bad product. personally i would not waste my money on then.
As per previous commments you have to store them somewhere & then when they are muddy where are you going to put.
But each to there own

I reckon if they can get you out of a sticky situation they're good whether its the TRAXX or a high lift. If I had access to them I'd use them. As the Goodyear tyre ad goes "if it only saves you once in a year, its a Goodyear". I think they're worth the money.
