What would the damage be on a "GOOD" 2h Diesel, mine is long in the tooth and needs replacing? I am looking at selling my road bike to finance the swap.

Hey Muzza,

We wish you luck finding a second hand snorkel, they are hard to come by. Have you called any 4WD wreckers? For reference a new Safari is around $440, so expect to get one around the $200 mark.

Very true, one wrecker wanted to charge me $280..... :mad::mad::mad:

So, ebay to the rescue, and I got one for $300 brand new, picked up from the factory in Rosebud. Came with everything, and looks great on the truck. ;);):D:D

Motor is in good condition, 330K from memory. the truck was an HJ60 I beleive it was a 84 model. The motor is complete block with fuel pump attached as well as exhaust manifold, and alternator. Give me a call on 0416241863 if you have any other questions.

It's not as expensive as you think. Just before Christmas we sent a Turbo 400 and transfer case to a place north of Perth for $150. PM me if you get stuck with freight.
