logic gear gps

im new also to this i have a logic gear gps, just wondering if anyone knows wether this unit can also use the ozi explorer soft ware .my unit has a sd card and i believe it uses an nmea protocol ??? i know it sounds dumb but how exactly do you run it through the gps to the explorer software . can anyone explain this or does anyone know a link that can explain

Is the logic gear GPS just a GPS, or is it a PDA?

The problem is with the older software...

"Important: because of changes to Nav-n-Gosoftware security, we can no longer offer uploadable Australian maps on SD card - you will need to return your GPS to Logic Gear if you want your upgraded maps onboard. However all maps (including the latest Sensis 2008 Australian map) will run very successfully from their new SD map card"
