Mate I have put them in the front and rear of my 4runner, I put the first one in the front and it was great, so I saved up and put one in the rear, they work very well,
If I had a gq I would put one in the front, you wont regret it.
very easy to install as well.

I wouldn't put a diff lock in the front of a GQ if you don't have a rear diff lock, otherwise you will be smashing CV's.

FYI i put a LOKKA in the rear of my 60LC and the LSD into the front.
can hardly notice the lokka working, in or out, over my engine noise and silly tyres!
its tops !!
however it does the job and great when its needed!
regards,
Josh

I've got a lockrite in the front of my GQ & have broken a CV, but with bigger tyres and doing something that I shouldn't have been doing, that'll happen.

You'd be better saving some more dosh & getting an airlocker from ARB or a prolocker from TJM.
