Ln167 what size tyres are legal/will fit

Hey Guys,
Been doing a bit of work to the old girl, putting in a 2inch tough dog lift tomorrow with a mate and was wondering if anyone has any experience on fitting 33s under them? Also what are the Vic Regs on this stuff? Is there a max tyre with a 2inch lift? I read somewhere here that you could legally only go to a 32inch with the 2 inch lift combined so not sure. It's not really a daily and ill have the stock 31ATs in the shed if needed but wanted to have a go on some 33s. I'm also putting a new steering damper in so that will give it a bit more strength but yeah just wanted some advice from experience rather than someone trying to sell me something.

31 x 10.5 r 15 is as big as you can go legally and then only if the car has the placard for the cheese cutter tyres off the base model - Toyota sell them to sr5 owners. They came on 29’s from factory.
You can get 33’s under them but you’ll want a body lift, better offset wheels and a grinder.

Lift & wheel width are 2 different things.
If VIC is like NSW its about wheel track on the width, 25mm overall & 12.5mm each side.
Height is 75mm overall, 25mm tyre max & 50mm suspension raise max.

Check the VIC rules, its an easy google search!!!!!!

At the end of the day, nothing is illegal................................................until you get caught :rolleyes:

In the "good old days" you got away with a lot of things, very much harder these days to be outside the rules!!

Luck can go either way but its a numbers game & eventually it catches up!
