i bought a set of lightforce 240 blitz spotties couple of weeks ago, as i was installing them i noticed on the box that they were boasting on the box about how they shot them with a police issue pump action shotgun at 15 yards. they had a link to the youtube video on the box so i had a look.

All that says to me that they are possibly need to be shot at, He was probably using quaik shot anyway with a light load, now if I wanted to put your lights out with a shotgun, it would be good old No.2 shot or good old polycores (solid ).. Sort of "Don't F#@K with the Wongs stuff ".

An old cynic when it comes to advertising !

By the way the Mass Debate on driving lights has allready been done , In Search, lookup Spotlights, what type ?

:D:):p:rolleyes::eek:

That video might be a little more convincing if he had just grabbed a roo by the back legs and swung it head-first at those lights. That said, my brother swears by his and says that glass is far more likely to crack from water crossings with the lights on, heating the glass.

Lightforce have a good name. I don't think it matters what lights you have you always run the risk of cracking them.

I'm with you crusierlad - lets try them out with the Emu........ :D

Well, Lightforce won't crack the polycarb lenses, but the sudden loss of heat could create a vaccuum that might suck water in past the seals.

Look at it from the bright side emu... you get to wear one of those fancy yellow shirts with the atomic logo on it!:D
