Im on holidays at the moment so will be orgaising the tyres and lift over the next couple of weeks.

And no i didnt wash it in one of those puddles. My vehicle is stock but as u saw i will pretty much try anything, as they say u never no till u try.

Matt at QDAD wont give me my car back. He fixed the timing belt and reackon's it sounds like a bucket of S**t.

So no hurry with the tyre. I was 99% certain i was going to trade the patrol for a RAV4 this weekend too.

I know some of the guys a QDAD and it must be a POS for them to say that. The record so far isn't good on Logi's POOtrol

Correct.

QDAD is the local Diesel and 4wd racing group. Its the recommended repaired for the area on here, but they are always super busy cause they know there stuff. I think Paul or Scotty had a sticker for them on the back of there truck.

I got lots of questions today and why the fuel pump was not original, why the engine was so noisy, was it always like this.

He basically said all the electronics where just hanging, nothing but put back together correctly and he feels the fuel pump is extremely advanced causing detonation and the noisy engine.

I am not going to argue with the first mechanic that made sense and did not make me think he was talking BS.

Scotty: You got rocks in your head if you think thats gonna happen. You'd never fit in the Prado - you saw Frosty with his head through the roof. As for Jaz in the Chevrol, well yea right. I do reckon Frosty would get the Navara up some of those hills out at Ripley that Jaz can't get it up.

here is the start of the clean up to get the swimming pool out of the Navara, damm it was soaked. Found the water didnt come in from under the door but a bung had come loose and half out under the drivers seat.










All the carpet is now hanging in my lounge under the heater trying to dry it

After you dry your beast out, lanotec the area there the water got too. It could rust

yea was going to do that too and silicon up the bung that came out and tape up all the wiring looms that the factory dont tape up.

Well I don't know what you guys were doing, maybe you had your eyes closed or somethin. I took the kids out there this afternoon alone and drove through that creek that you guys sank your cars in and had no problems. It was deep but I crawled through it.
The hill Mike blew his tyre on I also walked up...
