Are we going to be using a certain uhf radio channel? Just thinking it might help those who are navigationally challenged like me (incase I cant find the entrance :D - info on its location seems vague on details from my google time but saw mention of people driving past it and never realising it was there lol)

edit - found this sofar, but those GPS co-ordinates place it between a couple of roads - "Upper Bylong Road" and "Bylong Valley Way" Looks like its "upper bylong road" though if Wooleys is the nearest cross street?

LOCATION (nearest road/crossroads): Wooley's Road, Upper Bylong
CLOSEST TOWN: Bylong NSW
CO-ORDINATES: S32 28.655 E150 12.778

Our UHF's didn't pick up people coming in ,until they were actually on the property ,and past the first creek, and we were camping at the Top camp, which is the first one.And definitely very limited mobile service. But ,its easy enough to find, the General store will point you in the right direction.Very helpful,I went there to see if they knew where I could get some bolts for a mates Disco, they had them, even asked if I wanted nylock nuts.

Sounds brilliant. Just a few questions
Is this place camper trailer friendly?
Am I OK to access it in my X-Trail?
Do you need approval for dogs or can you just rock up?

The first creek crossing is most rocky, and dry, this one was a bit sandy, had a swim in here,50 % cow shit I think,by the smell of it.Water was pretty much nonexistent back in November though.Check out Bruces FB page.

Cheers mate. I noticed theres a Pajero like mine with no snorkel behind that landcruiser in the photo :D Doesnt look to be deep enough to worry about water blinds or anything (which is lucky cause I aint got one hahaha)

My car absolutely hates water crossings (not sure if its my style of driving or what) and I usually end up dropping a cylinder or 2.
It fixes itself after a few minutes though but if you guys hear a Paj revving high in low range on the way in - its just me drying things out hahahah

If Im on my own I reckon Im going to rip the back seat out of my car before I leave and stick a mattress in and skip the tent bit altogether.

Everything Ive read sofar about dogs there Toddy is - They are welcome if they are "Friendly" dogs. My dog is really friendly around people - but unpredictable around other dogs so Im leaving mine at home :D

Both my dogs are sweet with people, dogs, chickens, cows, horses and even some cats (provided the cats are used to dogs and don't bolt - they can't resist chasing something that runs away).

Ok dogs are more then welcome at NO cost to there owners. We also have the use of a trailer to collect firewood. I will be collecting the Camping fees for Bruce, just to make it easy for everyone so please bring the right money to make it EASY for me!!. I will update first post with this info.

Cheers Darren

Thanks for that Darren. I'm 99% sure I will be there. Just need to confirm closer to the date. Is the plan to get out there early Saturday? So the weekend should cost $30?
