Only couple weeks ago, on my way home from the bigsmoke, I can go west then turn north or go east then north or third option straight up the guts north via the backblocks, neither is shorter distance or timewise.
For a change I chose east then north, which just so happens to go through a little village that has a copshop smack bang fronting the main thoroughfare.
Hence one approaches the 60zone on a slight bend, just before the copshop, late at night. Right behind the speed signs is the 'glow' of red and blue flashing lights.
