Yeh very steeeeep and not much traction at all. Way too dangerous to do with kids in car too. We made a good call today giving it a miss. I wanted to give it a crack at one stage but didn't want to spoil a great weekend by rolling the car lol.

It is a hard climb, you need lockers (2) to do it safely, there are similar ones up in that area but not as rough, but they have spoon drains which are like steps and a bit longer. glad you all got home safely

Great weather, great camping spot (never been there b4), great driving, great scenery & great company which made for a great weekend.

Thanks for organising the trip Digger & Lil. I have heaps of photos & videos but no clue how to put them on here....great photos Dave.

Offroad Rich, I was in Jamo about 3ish. Went to the servo to air up. Was another white one parked across the road as well. Mine was the one with the screaming kids in it lol.

Can't wait for the trip report Lil.

Awesome trip, for someone that has never been up to the high country before, the views were amazing along with the huts and the tracks went overly hard which was a nice change to toolangi where u are lucky to get out without any damage. Had good company and met a few more faces from the forum. Digger did a great job at organising the weekend and acting as tour guide :D

Nice pics, I too was camped at Skipworth on the weekend and spoke to you Digger1982 about where you had been for the day and what tracks you did.

Lyrebird track sure is one of those tracks you can't believe how steep it is intill your standing at the bottom of it looking up.
