Make sure that you check the Granny's Flat crossing. It's a bit deeper than normal this time of year.
Have a great trip guys and get some picks would love to see how Skipworth is looking.

Yeh we crossed Granny s flat crossing about 3 months ago it was over our bonnet then so I reckon it's gonna be pretty deep. Few of us going now so should be a good trip. Nice country side at Jamieson, skipworth is a great campsite. Easy to find for everyone too. I heard the river crossing near kevington pub is really high I was told I would need a submarine to get to the other side lol.

Granny's Flat is seasonally closed it has been that way for a few years. As is Gallows Tk that drops in off the Jamo-Licola rd from the top end, Stony Creek tk was closed last weekend. Mastesr tk into Granny will be pretty wild after the rain. But since you can't head into Granny's you will be better of doing the tracks on the Mt Terrible side.

Either that or follow Sappers tk out of Jamirson towards Jamieson lookout track. It is possible to do a loop back onto the Jamo rd via that route.

Have fun!

Cheers

Gday Digger, There was a large yellow road closed at the bottom of Stoneys at the Jamieson-mansfield rd end.

The jamo was flowing pretty good last weekend.

Cheers mate, can u drive into granny's flat camping ground at all?
No unfortunatley not mate, there is a gate at the main entrance off the Licola-jamo rd.

I guess they got sick of it being ripped up every winter. I camped there the last weekend before it was closed this year and they had a heap of machines in there repairing the banks of the river since the floods. There are new toilets and firepits in there too.

Back in the day when I was a youngster we used to camp in there in the dead of winter.

Cheers

Wow, cheers mate thanks for the heads up. I was going to take everyone on sappers tracks and cross onto jamieson lookout track and head back via the jamieson licola rd. won't be doing that anymore I guess. Yeh I went to granny's flat in April and saw the new toilets and did the river crossing then upto masters track. Water was pretty high then.

Digger you can still do the Sappers loop mate, that side is open all year.

You will need to be mindful of the river crossing at the bottom of Moonlight too.

What about Newmans tk down from Terrible? Although you will be heading across towards Big River away from your campsite.

Cheers
