I had one as a company vehicle. Handed back at nearly 350000.
At this point the air con was starting to struggle in summer and it was losing a bit of power. (unsure what the issues were as it was beyond a factory trained Holden technician to work out).
It was serviced every 10000km.
Weak points i found were suspension and Holden dealers.
It had a tendency to slide sideways with a bit of rain. After market suspension may go along way to fixing this as i think it was the factory rear springs were pretty hard to get the load carrying capacity.
One thing i noticed was even when i handed it back it still had no rattles and it had driven a lot of rough roads.
Get it checked and make sure it's services have been done. I really liked mine.

My ra 2004 turbo diesel has 430000 on the clock .
Have replaced turbo, starter motor and shocks and other bits (clutch ect) but still going strong .does do the egr engine wanting light ocasianly on the freeway but is tuff as nails and a solid work horse .
At the moment it needs a few body mounts and shocks replaced.
Blows less smoke than a brand new Hilux.
She tows a trailer for work regularly.
Hopefully she goes for a while yet ha would probly only replace her with a Toyota but the newer isuzu utes look good .see how it goee .

Got it at 25,000 off the east link it was a work Ute
It’s done 200000km on the clock
His serviced it mabye twice...by that I mean oil change lol
The ac just went but that’s the only thing that ever went wrong with it.
it does have a rattle when the clutch is out but it has been doing it for alight time lol.
it’s a his drive around and not care about car lol
the rear shocks and leafs are bouncy as haha
