Hi mate saw you in Bayswater today! :D Yeah they dont like dealing with people out of the factory. You will get better support from the supplier you brought it from through.

I agree the amount of money you pay for it a little bit of customer service always helps

I have just got myself an iPad and have loaded the VMS app onto to it. The only prob I can find with it at the moment is that the map will not swing around (north up) when using the iPad in 'landscape' mode. I have heard that there is an update on the way to fix this though. I haven't used it in the bush yet, but from what I can see and have played with I think it will work fine. If Hema bring out an app, I will probably get that too :D. I have also got a GPS app when not in the bush. I have mounted this in my trusty Nav using a RAM mount which runs off the passenger seat rail and doesn't restrict my vision like the windscreen mount would.

I have paid for the vms maps then i went to vic maps and downloaded the maps i needed in vic i think it was aboat $120 .The reason you need these maps is the vms maps are not as refined as the vic maps are .They have tracks that you can zoom right in on .I am hanging out to see the new vms upgrade .Igot the windsceen bracket as scoden said it does restrict the vision a little but i have worked it out by moving it around I have also managed to place it so you can use it as a video as well you guys should try it out im impressed .cheers fluff

I looked at the windscreen Ram Mount so I could use the video on the iPad. Unfortunately the window mount restricts my vision way too much, mainly because my Navara has that hump in the middle of dash. I will see how this works. I will probably still get lost Bro :)

i like were yours sits. Is it easy to see when you drive? Im thinking of also getting that bracket for when im not videoing. As the windscreen bracket comes out seven inchs i am able to sit it just in front of the dash it also mounts to one side so it is more on the passenger side giving me more vision than i expected.have you looked for more detailed maps in your area?

Scodon NEEDS to keep both eyes on the road/track,I think it might be hard for him to do two things at once.:D:D:D:D

I am now looking at a windscreen Ram mount that I can use in the bush. The video on these iPads is too good to waste. Although the hand held video camera works good too! I haven't looked for anymore map apps, I just have VMS at the moment. I will keep looking though, instead of playing games :D
