Intermittent starting issues ford everest

So my everest has been realy wierd, sometimes it starts fine and other times it wont start at all with signs of a flat battery like dim cluster lights when i turn ignition on ready to start but the battery is fine.. for example i started it, shut it off went to start it again, wouldn't start and had dim lights on dash and just clicked, sometjmes it will be good all day for even a couple of days then other times i go to start it and does this.. very anoying. Battery leads are all tight, no aftermarket electrical bits added to car it completely stock. I read another article similar from a few years back about this happening on a pk ranger and they put another earth cable from battery to engine and fixed it.. has anybody experienced same problems and found a solution?

Low charged battery in my px ranger starts to give warnings about cruise control and some other oddly unrelated functionality. You seeing anything like this? I replaced the battery with a new one (it was due) and these gremlins went away. My example was a known thing.

You could try cleaning the earth straps where they connect to the body/ engine, and the cable ends where it bolts to the starter and battery end as well. Certainly sounds like a dirty connection.

Get the battery tested it will help eliminate one item so your not chasing your tail looking at or replacing things that are ok.

Battery is brand new and i even put the old battery in one of my other cars and works fine. All terminals are clean, i did the earth strap trick today and so far so good, i guess the real test is if it starts in the morning.
