High plains, dargo, crooked river

Hey guys,
Im planning a trip up to the Dargo area for mid July. I want to head into the crooked river area, haven't been in there for ages. Just wondering if there's any decent trips along there, Wonnongatta etc. Also any track closures as it is now snow season? Wouldn't mind tackling a few river crossings too if the water isn't too high, I guess we will just have to wait and see if the mountains get a decent dump of snow in the next fortnight. I'm heading up with 2 patrols, and a discovery, lifted with snorkels and good AT's. Any feedback is appreciated.

Cheers,
Panda

thanks traveller, will be handy when i get down to the details. i guess most of those tracks would have gates? because i know lots arent signposted, wouldn't want to head down a closed track and get nabbed for it..

I know some have gates, but would guess that 'ignorance is no excuse' when it comes to getting caught.
Best bet would be to ring the local dse office to that area I reckon.
