Hi there, welcome to the forum !

Let us know what you are planning and we will give you as much information as we can, If you are doing the West to East crossing of central Australia, there are Permits required for travell over Aboriginal lands etc and fuel stop locations .

Do you intend to bring your own 4X4 or hire ? What is your time allowed, you may be in for a shock as some areas like the Simpson Desert you will have to carry signicant fuel, on my crossing I used 95 litres from Birdsville to Mt.Dare but you have to carry double and some just in case rains and floods happen and you have to turn back .

G'day and Welcome.
Enjoy the site.......................don't think I am going to weigh into the conversation above.
Anyway, as said, let us know what you are planning, and you will get plenty of help and advice.

Post up what you have got planned and you may even get some people keen enough to tag along, if that was what you might be after. Have a great trip and remember, stay safe!!
