First time joining a 4x4 forum, looking for advice on a new second hand rig.
I've always had patrols with lifts and big tyres but haven't been 4x4ing since our first daughter came along. Now more interested in a family friendly tourer with good fuel economy for long trips in the Bush.
Looking at anything really but keen on a dual cab ute as I have kids and a property so it needs to be functional and reliable.

Look for a dual cab with plenty of room in the back seats . The Nissans are poor for rear leg room. May not be an issue now but down the track it will be.

Welcome to Earth Pete.

Most vehicles have their pros and cons, and of course you can get a good one or a lemon.
If you’re a bit mech minded your can check them out as you find suitable vehicles and take your time, eventually you’ll get a good deal.

What’s your budget ?

We shopped around a few years ago as we had 2 boys that were only ever going to get bigger, we found the Triton pretty roomy due to the slightly different shaping of the rear of the cab.
