hi all. gonna sound like a right nufty but oh well. i purchased a part map of vic from maptrax to see what they were like. map files are in ecw and ozfx3. after downloading to the hema when i bring them up the map dissapears in a couple of seconds and go's back to map on start up. i apologise for my ignorance just some good help would be good. We are all learning. cheers NIBS...

Nibs, If the map you are loading is in a different area to where the unit physically is, you will need to turn the GPS off. It sounds like the HEMA is loading the map then loading the map for where you are at the time.
