Haunted Stream Track

unforatinatly our trip has been canceled, still thinking of heading down on my own, being a fairly easy track, shouldnt be too many probs, and im sure its going to be fairly busy down there.

G'day Patriot and Croozer,
Think I have talked the better half into spending a few days over Easter camped somewhere along Haunted Stream Track. If you happen to see a Pajero ( see my Avatar ) with 4x4 Earth stickers, make sure to give us a call. I haven't been up there before, so I suppose the camping spot will be whatever we find along the way between Tambo Crossing and Dawson. Plan on doing a bit of driving over the break too. Hopefully catch up.

We will keep an eye out. Provisionally hoping to do it on Friday, but not sure yet. Depends on weather. Looking forward to it though.

Hopefully catch up. We are leaving Melb ( Beaconsfield ) earlyish Friday morning and hope to be setting up somewhere along the track by about mid arvo.

Will look out for spots for you Bek. Any found, I will send pics and GPS bearings. Hopefully upload some track details and a report at some stage after Easter too.

Dawson City would be the best spot I saw, but there is a couple more between Tambo and Stirling
Tk, and one up Stirling from what I've heard.

Hi BEK

Found a few campsites along Haunted Stream and the surrounding areas. 3 of these would be suitable for multiple vehicles, tents etc. I have added these, with pictures and waypoints to the camping forum http://www.4x4earth.com.au/forum/ca...am-surrounding-areas-campsites.html#post46458

There are many others, but nothing that would really suit more that one vehicle and a tent, or maybe two with a squeeze.

Beautiful area well worth a visit.
