Haven't camped there, but a month ago it was an absolutley gorgeous place to stop for a cuppa, and I can't wait to go back. The WW2 tanktraps were interesting too.
It's about halfway between Woodenbong and Tabulam in Northern NSW, west of the Clarence Way (I think that was the name of the bitumen road it paralleled).
12.2 km west of Urbenville, NSW on Kangaroo Creek Road. Turn left (South) onto Upper Tooloom Road. Follow and continue on Paddys Flat Road. 31km south is this spot
google map 28° 43.102'S 152° 25.242'E and it will put your there.
Have camped in the region and swum in the river but not sure it was the same place but it was many (too many to count) years ago. I had good memories of the area.
