Thats a good post Bainsy, I appreciate the last sentence in particular as that was me & the missus in that car. I made the error of trying to pull out of the rut and it near cost me my car, I was trying to be super careful on this day because we were taking this car to Tassie a few days later but everything was going wrong, but we made it out with a snapped wheelstud and a pretty good vid. Cheers...:)

ah Bullstat welcome back, watched the vid and thought bullstat is in a little trouble here but then I thought I wasn't that sure it was you, Thanks for verifying for me, perhaps a few newby's could learn from your experiences as to how quick things can turn pear shaped. Good Recovery by your mate, says a lot for going out with someone else too.

G'day Bullstat,

Please don't take my initial post the wrong way, not criticising at all, I have been in worse situations than that which have unfortunately not been caught on video for others to learn from. Most, if not all of them self inflicted too.

I just think that if we can share what can go wrong, then if only one other person learns something, then a positive is achieved.

We will have to catch up for a drive sometime. Bainsy, Elbie84, myself and a few others are looking at the possibility of an overnighter or weekender during March. Keep an eye on the trips section, you would be more than welcome.

No worries Dave, I don't mind you posting it and I haven't taken any offense to what you wrote I just liked Bainsy's post. The view count has gone from 75 to 135 (roughly) in 2 days thanks to your link to it, and if someone else can learn from it all the better. Thanks for the welcome Grumpy, yep it was me and thank god Rowan was so quick to act, so far he's had to pull me out of New Turkey Spur track, Inglemans track & now Harduphaul track.

No worries Bullstat, they do like it better on all 4's, hard to get any traction when they fall over.

We all learn by our mistakes Bullstat, I know next time you will stay in the ruts, and good to see you didnt try to drive out of it, I have seen many try to and then roll.
