Glen Chee/6 foot track: is it open?

How are people going from cox river road all the way to jenolan caves road then if it’s always been fenced off? Is there a trail I missed?

Yes. The camp is essentially a side trail. Glen Chee Road links with Black Range Trail.

Okay, I just got off the phone with NWPS and the lady said that I can’t even drive on black range road , told her that lots of people drive on there and she said it was fenced off now

I hope that's not actually true and she's just got her wires crossed. There is seasonal closures out there and wet weather closures but obviously we haven't had any of that for a while.

Yeah I hope she’s wrong to, I think I’ll head out there on Sunday and take a look, so a good route is Cox River Road into Glen Chee road then into Black range road onto jenolan road?

Essentially yes but get some maps. It can become a bit of a maze out there and there's no phone reception.

From memory there are signs that point towards the camp ground and jenolan caves road

No but there is a locked gate ahead. At the old campground near the river.

Yeah correct. Can park just short of the campground and walk to the river or the swing bridge.
