Glasshouse Mtns 30/12

I'm staying on the sunshine coast this Christmas so if anyone's keen I'd be up for a trip to the Glasshouse Mtns on the 30th. I've got a Pajero with 2" lift, rear locker and muddies so I'm up for a bit of fun just want to avoid panel damage (tree scratches ok). Will be my first trip so if anyone would like to come along as a guide that would be great.

Might be interested but won't know until closer to the date. Be a good test as I should have my 4x4 lowered by that time. Are you planning on jumping on the forum a day or two before the 30th?

Unless I break something between now and then (busted a wheel stud yesterday) I plan to arrive at the Glasshouse Mtns lookout at 8:45 to leave at 9:00 and I'll be on UHF 13 for anyone that wants to come. So far there's about five probablies.

Cheers

Might be able to go as I have the GQ back now. All but the winch bar.
Yobbo, what height are you lowering it down to?

Lowering it down to just a 4" lift. Gave it a new set of upper and lower control arms tonight after i bent an upper doing the widow maker at Glasshouse the other week.

Will drop it down after LCMP on the 27th. Coming down for that mate?

As hard or as easy as you like mate. There are heaps of tracks out there. Just not sure about Chicken Tracks around the hard parts.

I would be keen to come but I am working that afternoon,
Yobbo the road we went in on last time leads you to the lookout, we turned off at the fork in the road and headed left, if you stay on the road we were on I am pretty sure it takes you straight to it. there is a sign on the main road we went in on saying lookout.

I would imagine it would be very muddy and slippery at Glass house at the moment. Is everyone still going?

I'm still going. I just arrived on the sunny coast today and had a quick look as I was going past. Does look muddy but there's plenty of tyre tracks and they don't cut very deep so we should be able to pick the tracks. There hasn't been any rain up here today so if it stays dry then it shouldn't be too bad by Wednesday. Even if it pelts down tomorrow, I've just spent nearly 3 grand on wheels and mud tyres so there's no way I'm not giving them a serious try out :D.
