Looking at areas in The High Country that i know even Hema havent mapped well (I even sent them emails about it years ago now but fell on death ears ) this software has improved out of sight. The LIVE mapping is great. You can check an area before you go, Plus it gives you a few other mapping overlays including Gates etc.
Nice job considering it’s FREE.

Well, it's obvious then why Hema aren't upgrading the high country mapping as they should.
Seriously though, they want you to buy the 1:25k topos, even though they aren't all that accurate / up to date.

I was just comparing the maps to Hema for Cape York and Get Lost has more detail showing a campsite I know that Hema doesn’t

They should get the App onto stores like Play store or the Apple store.

Why are they free?​

I hike, bike, 4WD, paddle, ride, hunt, cross country ski, snowshoe and generally get out and about any chance I get.
I originally built these maps because I wanted them to exist, for myself.
Then I thought, maybe you could get some use out of them too.

Now here we are.
