I recently heard that D22 Navara (amongst its many wonderful features) has actually been built for the purpose of 'toyota recovery vehicle'.. is that true? does anyone know where I can research some history about that particular subject?

I'd be checking out the fiction section of your local bookshop.
Right next to "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", would be a good start.:D:D:D

The only reason Toyotas get pulled out is because everyone know's that if a Toyota can't do it then nothing can, and you always get the best across first to drag the remainder through:cool::D:D
