So less than 2 weeks to go and I'm thinking the consensus is to at least do Baal bone track and have a look at the glow worms. Im keen to do baal bone track and a few more in the area. What about if we stayed in Marrangaroo national park, camp by the Coxs river? There terrain varies up to 1200m and has views... plenty of tracks to do aswell... short drive to glow worm tunnel on the sunday and we could go and do the Baal Bone track on the saturday? Does mean a lil blacktop in between tho? Oh and there may be fish to catch..... could always go and have aook at mount Walker too

Baal bone is a definite , not sure if everyone's been out to the Lost City , I'm not to fussed on glow worm , My bung leg is killing me lately so i'm not too keen on a long walk ... fat bastard I am ....
I've never been out to Marrangaroo NP and the Cox's river is always nice .... but we will leave it up to you trip leader ...

We could do the two Lost City tracks if we ditch going to the Glow Worms.

So I found a spot called lake Wallace camping area which is nice and flat next to the Coxs River which would be a good camping area. On the saturday, a quick drive up to Ben Bullen SF and a run along Moffats trl to Baal Bone gap to meet up with The Bicentennial trk. Head down there and cross over onto Blackfellows hand trk and a quick stop at the indigenous paintings and lunch break. Then continue alone this till it meets Kangaroos Creek rd follow that and exit via Angus Pl trail. Or maybe turn left and do some other tracks towards lost city. Back to camp and a few quite ales and then a run on the sunday morning into Marrangaroo to Mt walker lookout and a play. How does this sound?

I've had my plans for next weekend changed and I can now join you! :D If you'll have me, of course ;) I've stayed at Lake Wallace. It made a nice campground for a quick overnight stopover, but I wouldn't recommend it for the group for a couple of nights. It's on a sealed road so you get lots of caravans and motorhomes and it's also near a highway. What about somewhere in Ben Bullen? I've got Friday afternoon off work so will be there late afternoon, depending on traffic! I'll bring my DSLR again and grab some pics :)
