EOI 11th and 12th

Hi all so I'm thinking of another trip for the 11th and 12th of August maybe down zig zag way. I dont know any tracks down that way but am keen to have a look around. If anyone is interested I can make a plan up and see what's about. Any one got an idea or any recommendations? Hopefully get some of you sydney siders out and about.

Im liking this regular trips your putting up!
I did a pretty good run back in march (as i hate back tracking especially in a place as wild as Lithgow) we went from Clarence to lidsdale down Angus Pl fire trail (its a fork off Blackfellows hand bit more fun than blackfellows but same direction). Down to Newnes for the night then back out of the valley and up and over the Ball bone gap on the bicentennial trail to Turon for the sunday night.
I think im tied up that weekend but if that changes ill be keen to tag along, i think i had a log running that trip ill see if i have waypoints tomorrow.

I really want to do this one, but might not make it :(
Rego due and after the last run I really need to get better bash plates under the challenger. The factory plates are a little bent up lol,
But they did their job.
I will let you know closer to time with 100% answer as I'm going to do what ever I can to get out for it.

Anyone got any good ideas for a camp fri night and a drive sat with a camp spot for the night?

we could meet up at NEWNES then head up blackfellows to lost city then maybe over to glow worm tunnel the somehow back track over to baal bone through the gardens of stone camp in there somewhere or head to Glen Davis ... just my 2c worth

I was thinking of something along the same lines but if we get to do Baal bone I’m happy with anything.

That's a long day???? Glow worm tunnels always take longer than expected.:( But it is awesome.

I'm out and I'm not happy about it. I've never seen the worms and would very much like to.
There is a radio contest (yes I'm a nerd) on that weekend and it's the one I do each year with a few mates.
Someone please take lots of pics, so I can head down and check it out at a later date.

Do we have a count yet I’ve seen some bush camps on the track on the way into the other Lost City that’s only 15 min from the Lost City so is that for the Friday night.

There's a campground down that way called Galah Mountain right on the boundary of SF and NP as you head towards the Glow Worm Tunnels. It's on the right side as you head north.

There's heaps out there though. Just poke your nose down a track and you will most likely come across something.
