Hey guys,

I recently found out about a 4x4 and bike park called Emu Creek Extreme Retreat. The reason i am interested in this place is it is only a few hours up the road from me. It is located near Tabulam. Just wondering if anyone had heard of this place or been there as it looks like a goo way to spend a weekend.

Cheers

It was closed but I heard it has opened again. Had some real hard tracks and good camping.

I started to go to emu creek about 12 years ago. I have'nt been in at least 6 years. They have a good variety of tracks from very extreme to commodore. It did close down a few years ago but has reopened. It does have bikes as well (they are the main source of income I hear) but they are controlled well apparantly and can only travel in certain directions on some tracks and are not allowed on some. I would rate it back then as good as LCMP, but I don't know how dusty it is from the bikes. Anyone who goes to Blackduck will know what I mean! I'd be keen to have another look at it!

Anywhere where they mix 4wd's and MX is a recipie for disaster, I would stay clear of those places and stick to the 4wd deticated parks, they know what we want and you don't hear those annoying bikes all day long!

with rover they have fences top stop the motor bikes even thier camp ground is separate to the 4b's but you don't have to camp at the main site you go down the back to camp sites 2 and 3 away from the showers you only have to go back if you need a shower, they have toilets at the other campsites ,it really is well set up,there are other sites scattered with-in the park to go to

Hi All, Just a quick heads up that Emu Creek is back in business. No longer cater for motorbikes/quads.
Strickly camping and 4wding. Unregistered vehicles are permitted.
Bookings are essential. No entry without a booking.

Cheers
