Dual Subframe Lift! (suggestions/advice/relevant info)

Ian apparently someone on the X-Trail forum has managed to convince the guys in Japan to send over the 4 inch lift kit. Still trying to get details how he did it and what he's doing re: engineering over here.

Might be a lack of sales over there motivating the change of policy, as when I tried they wouldn't have a bar of it.. Good luck with engineering it though, subframe lifts are illegal in Aus :D I'll have a look though, thanks.

Just purchased the body blocks I need for the subframe lift. I also have all the relevant measurements of my coils to put coil spacers on the front. It's all happening here now :)

Ok, so I had to get some custom bolts made up for the subframe blocks and I now have the coil spacers, so my only obstacle now is having sufficient spare time to complete the task!

If you want to donate the flat, level work area that I need, which is also protected from weather and can absorb the noise of an amateur home-mechanic who favours descriptive expletives.. then by all means I can finally utilise my pointlessly long nights :D
