You could buy the $20 supercheap plastic battery box and mount it in that in the tray next to the fridge.

Given that it is outside, you could run a wet cell deep cycle to reduce cost.

Got to watch that! Super Cheap wanted $30 but had no lids for them, so I got the same thing at BCF for $19

will just fit a N50, tight squeeze takes a bit of fiddling around by the look of it

I think if you go the inbetween guards route, the battery would only stick out about 50-70mm into the tub, and you could make up a cover so it cannot be seen.

If its a MK Triton fits Passanger side rear you will only get a 6'' case size [ holden falcon case } should be able to pickup a 60 a/h battery to fit. Should run a fridge for 2 days, easy to fit Talk to BatteryWorld they should be able to help

Sorry Mate be offline for a few days yea some manufactures call them n50 but make sure you use a deep cycle or a marine battery. Marine have a plate thickness between staring batteries and cycle batteries so they recharge slightly faster than deep cycle. But still cycle for the weekend use. Hope it helps
