Thanks Matt, I appreciate that. That makes sense, as it's only happened once in 4 months. If I can trouble you with one more question as you seem very knowledgeable in this area and I evidently am not....The car a day after a service, went into limp mode. Our mechanic identified the problem after several days (not a Land Rover dealership) as a Turbo Boost Solenoid Circuit Malfunction. It was recommended I take it to a 4x4 workshop that does Dyno Tuning etc. They have said with the Disco the turbo is central and difficult to access. Due to go West in 2 weeks and so I am hoping it wasn't an indication of a Turbo issue. Any thoughts? Thanks again for you time, JemI bet you actually touched the flappy paddles without you realising, that puts it in full manual mode. It also changes the D on the dash to the gear selected change to sport mode with the dial and back to D then it will go back into auto mode
One dot means you changed your mind.…………………………………………………………………………………………………………….,…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….,………………………………………………………………………………
Or he has forgotten his morse code should have dashes as wellOne dot means you changed your mind.
Many dots means you put your beer on the keyboard by mistake
I suggest you ignore that advice, and a lot of the anti LR BS you will have to put up with on this forum. Thanks Matt, I appreciate that. That makes sense, as it's only happened once in 4 months. Thank you. I shall do that.@JemJames I would definitely take Matts advice over the advice you were given. He does know them pretty well. And I agree that vehicle-specific forums are much more useful than general 4wd forums like this one to leverage that kind of technical experience.

Have a look on AULRO, heaps of people there that know 100 times more than me but don't bother with any "4x4 specialist" , take it to a good LR independent.
From memory a sticky actuator is caused by dirt build up on the primary turbo and easy to fix, join AULRO and ask the brains trust there
I was always told that all LR problems could be fixed in the same way as an adsorption fridge that's playing up - turn it upside down on its lid and run it for a while.I suggest you ignore that advice, and a lot of the anti LR BS you will have to put up with on this forum.
