Hi everyone,

What would you guys recommend if the owner's-manual of a 60 series says Dexron II for its 4 speed auto, but cannot find it in any store?

I've tried repco, super cheap, burson, kmart, big w, there was none, and I even asked the people there.
The only thing that came close was a dex 3 that said it meets Dexron II spec, either Nulon or Valvoline, can't remember which one.
But I didn't want to risk putting in the wrong one. So, is dex 3 ok, and which brand would you recommend?

You can use Dex 3 as it exceeds the Dex 2 spec. Also at repco they wil have a oil spec book that will list your car so that you can confirm which is the corect oil, the Castrol oil book is excelent.

Is it for a top up or complete changeover? If it's a top up, you use Penrite Auto Transmission top up fluid (ATF) which is design for various grades, and is Australian made.
