DASH CAM any suggestion?

I just installed the famous BlackVue 770X-2CH with filter and large memory card.
So bad, but soooo bad! The front camera is terribly blurry and the rear camera is totally unrealistic; a vignette.
I sent couple of samples and the support didn't find anything concerning the rear camera (they said "optimized for the night") and for the front camera i was asked for more samples.
In the past I had the Street Guardian and I was so satisfied (actually two on two different cars) but I cant find it anymore, no more in production.

Do you have any suggestion? I want read the plates, front and rear!

Cheers, Nick

This is the rear cam sample and I was told "the rear camera is accurate I'm afraid". I am confused; about $1,000 of dash cam.
What you see is the original quality, no alterations.

The rear camera is external.
Initially I thought I did some setting mistake but Black Vue confirmed this image quality.
The vehicles' color are just black or white, plate numbers undetectable.... I don't understand the utility of this expensive rear camera.

I'll let you know when I finally get the rear camera plugged in. The front camera is fine on mine and superb quality, BlackVue 750X-2CH

This is the quality of my front camera, setting FHD@60 and video quality "extreme" plus Black Vue polarizer filter.

The rear camera looks like it`s all most in Infared,
I would be pissed at that as well.
And because this is the only external camera available ($350), I have to stick with it.
Not even pic samples on their website to understand what you are buying.
Disappointing.

The 770 is 1080 resolution. I's say that is as good as you can get from 1080.
Actually Black Vue agreed with the poor quality (blurry) and they asked for the full footage.
The answer was " An important factor that can deteriorate picture quality is dense foliage where the camera is trying to record everything possible and in turn will tank the overall bit rate/ quality of that particular video."
