Custom screens for Ozi Explorer Android

Time to start a thread for our own design screens for the excellent
Ozi Explorer for Android, this is mine along with a "ReadMe" file
describing how to install it. NB This screen layout *only* works in
landscape mode - if you switch to portrait it will revert to the
standard Ozi Explorer layout.

My screens

These have been made for a Galaxy Ace phone so suitable for a small screen.
They screens are portrait only and really only very basic stuff as I use it for bushwalking

Heres my Screen to suit my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 1200x800 screen,landscape only mode..Please read the read me file in the zip container..

Password is swaggie all lower case.

OK file Updated to include Route Page,Compass Page etc etc,plus smaller changes.

Ok a member has asked if it could do Degrees,Minutes,Sec rather than using UTM,well you cant change that particular setting in settings,you can with the original page.So heres the file if you prefer it..Also added Sunrise as well as Sunset to the Main Page.It has also been added to the UTM main Page (sunrise)

Ok, Id just like to say that another member has addressed a request from another member on here and made it good lol.

I'll see if I can repost my latest layout again for you to look at...


Try this :Swaggie's Degrees Landscape user file


So paste in the Ozi main file with the others...
Open main menu in Ozi then general then load page file (landscape) choose Swaggie's landscape etc, the file you pasted and that's it, I've only done work for the landscape mode only...
Started portrait but have a fair bit too do, lost interest really lol as I only use landscape..

Glad you like it mate, I've changed this and that over a couple of trips so it's basically what I like to see on a front page... As I said to Cougz you won't need the Altitude bit because it's all basically flat over your way isn't it...

I have the OziCE version but I think that you guys are talking about a laptop.

I wouldn't mind playing with it. I don't have any smart phones or android or tablet stuff.

Spent some time this morning customising my screen based on Swaggie's setup.
Changed some of the colours, icons and a few button placements.

i like the GPS Icon and Waypoint Icon...

As you go out on trips you may want to do changes that suit you....
